Photograph it
Up to three photos per meal, plus a line like "seven-tenths of the rice, less oil". Photos, name and description go off together; back comes each food, its portion, its calories and a confidence level.

What you ate, and what Apple Health saw you burn, become a single number — the calories still left to work off today. No food tables to search, no macros to count. One photo logs a meal.

How it works
Two ways to log a meal, both ending at the same number. Anything the estimate gets wrong, you correct — and your figure is the one that counts.
01
Up to three photos per meal, plus a line like "seven-tenths of the rice, less oil". Photos, name and description go off together; back comes each food, its portion, its calories and a confidence level.

02
Save the meals you eat often and log them with one tap — nothing to photograph, nothing to estimate again. Neither fits? Type the meal in by hand.

03
Back on Today the three rings redraw: how many calories are still to go, and what that is in steps or minutes of jogging.

Apple Health · Apple Watch
Your steps, active energy, basal energy, workout time and weight are read from Apple Health — read only. VicFit uses them to work out today's deficit and never writes anything back into your health data.
Portions
Nobody orders chicken rice in grams. Set the portion in units you would actually say out loud, and the calories recalculate on the spot.
